This essential training, designed primarily for commercial pilots, equips you with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to prevent and recover from flight upsets.

Entry requirements

The UPRT curriculum is specifically developed in accordance with Annex I Subpart H Section 2 FCL.745.A of regulation EU 1178/2011 (Part-FCL). This means we follow the highest standards, ensuring you receive a robust and comprehensive training experience that meets industry expectations. To ensure the highest quality of training, we have a set of pre-entry requirements. Applicants should possess:

  • A Part-MED Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • A Valid Part-FCL Pilot License
  • At least 70 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC)

We encourage pilots with valid Private Pilot License (PPL(A)) to apply for this course. However, please note, we particularly recommend the UPRT for pilots eligible for Type Rating.

training structure.

The Theoretical phase consists of a minimum of 5 hours instruction.
During these, the students will be prepared to achieve the theoretical knowledge referred to:

  • Basis aerodynamic
  • Aircraft’s relevant aerodynamic
  • Physiological and psychological effects
  • Resilience and procedures

The Flying phase has a minimum of 3 h of practical instruction on an acrobatic aircraft.
During the classes will be exercising the recovery of abnormal positions such as downward spiral movements, loss of control, different types of stall… until the pilot achieves the necessary skills to be able to identify and recover from them.
