To make the most of their Fly-Coop IR(A) rating, students are required to complete an extensive theoretical course covering the following topics, which are part of the ATPL theory course:

  • Flight Performance and Planning – Flight Planning and Monitoring

  • Aircraft General Knowledge – Instrumentation

  • Navigation – Radio Navigation

The theoretical part of the course involves computer-based self-study and is further complemented by interactive online virtual classroom sessions.

After successfully completing the online class and achieving a minimum of 75% in each PPL theory subject of the Fly-Coop Home Exams, student pilots are required to undergo an official examination conducted by the civil aviation authority. This examination will cover all the theory subjects mentioned below:

  • Meteorology

  • Communications

  • Flight Performance and Planning – Flight Planning and Monitoring

  • Aircraft General Knowledge – Instrumentation

The exams may be completed in either one or two sessions, and the minimum pass-mark required for each subject is 75%.

You can choose the combination of airplane and FNPT II simulator. All in all 50 hours must be completed The simulator could enhance the effectivity by ensuring more practice of the procedures.

Upon finishing the training program, student pilots are required to undergo an official check ride, during which a Flight Examiner will be on board to evaluate their skills and performance.
