Step by step
theoretical part
Kick-start with a 3-4 months online distance learning course, which you can complete at your own pace.
practical training
After finishing the theoretical part, you're set to embark on a minimum of 45 hours of practical training.
theory exam
During your flight training, you will take a theory exam on nine subjects at the CAA.
exam flight
Upon completion of the training, you will demonstrate your practical abilities during an exam flight.
Upon completing this training, you’ll also have the privilege to bring passengers aboard your flights. However, keep in mind that this licence permits only private flights and does not allow for financial compensation.

Training Structure
To make the most of their Fly-Coop PPL(A) license, students are required to complete an extensive theoretical course covering the following topics:

After successfully completing the online class and achieving a minimum of 75% in each PPL theory subject of the Fly-Coop Home Exams, student pilots are required to undergo an official examination conducted by the civil aviation authority. This examination will cover all the theory subjects mentioned below:

- Communications
- Principles of Flight: Aeroplane
- Operational Procedures
- Flight Performance and Planning
- Aircraft General Knowledge

The exams may be completed in either one or two sessions, and the minimum pass-mark required for each subject is 75%.
The EASA PPL(H) course’s practical flight training is designed to offer student pilots a diverse and comprehensive range of experiences. The training is structured into the following subparts:
- Subpart 1: Airspace and Traffic Circuits
- Subpart 2: Solo Flying and Navigation
- Subpart 3: Solo Navigation Flying
- Subpart 4: Basic Instrumentation and Low level / Poor Visibility
Throughout the course, student pilots will undertake 35 hours of flight training with an instructor on board and an additional 10 hours of solo flight, ensuring a minimum total flight time of 45 hours. The flight training can be done on all type of the fleet, but the price varies by the type.
Upon finishing the training program, student pilots are required to undergo an official check ride, during which a Flight Examiner will be on board to evaluate their skills and performance.
