Entry requirements
The gates to this professional aviation knowledge hub are open to all PPL (Private Pilot Licence) holders who meet the following criteria:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Possess a valid EASA PPL(A)
- Hold a Part-MED Class 2 or 1 medical certificate

Special Provisions for CPL(A) and IR(A) Holders
For those of you already holding an EASA Commercial Pilot License (Aeroplane), we recognise your previous dedication with credits towards our course. CPL(A) holders are eligible for a significant reduction of 225 hours of self-study and 25 hours of classroom instruction.
We extend similar benefits to valid EASA IR(A) rating holders:
- PPL(A) + IR(A) holders get credited with 135 hours self-study and 15 hours classroom time.
- CPL(A) + IR(A) holders receive a substantial reduction of 360 hours self-study and 40 hours classroom time.

After successfully completing the online class and achieving a minimum of 75% in each ATPL theory subject of the Fly-Coop Home Exams, student pilots are required to undergo an official examination conducted by the civil aviation authority.
