After successfully completing the online class and achieving a minimum of 75% in each PPL theory subject of the Fly-Coop Home Exams, student pilots are required to undergo an official examination conducted by the civil aviation authority. This examination will cover all the theory subjects mentioned below:

  • Air Law

The exams may be completed in either one or two sessions, and the minimum pass-mark required for each subject is 75%.

The flight training is divided in a visual flight phase and a basic IFR phase
To that end, the flight training is composed of:

  • 20 flight hours on single engine Cessna 152
  • 5 flight hours on single engine Cessna 152 (night VFR rating)
  • 5 flight hours on multi engine Piper Seneca (PA34)

Those pilots having an instrument Rating Airplane (IR-A) shall not perform the basic flight instrumentation phase of 10 hours.
Those pilots having an instrument Rating Helicopter (IR-H) must perform five hours of flight phase in basic flight instruments, being accredited five hours as previous experience.

Upon finishing the training program, student pilots are required to undergo an official check ride, during which a Flight Examiner will be on board to evaluate their skills and performance.
